Harboursandport.com: Apapa Area1Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), said it has intercepted 4 x 40 foot containers of controlled drugs worth N110,017,524.00, even as it raked into the federation account N31 billion in Janiary.

According to the Customs Area Controller (CAC) of the Commamd, Jibrin Musa, the interception 3x40 foot containers was made on Tuesday 6th of February, 2018 and was shipped into the country, from India by Villa Gold Pharmacy.
Stuffed in the containers are 936 cartons of tramadol Hydrochloride table with 225 nile gramms (mg), 56 cartons of collstop chlorpheniramine Maleate capsules with 44mg and
368 cartons of tramadol capsules BP with 120mg.
Othrrs are 192 cartons of tramadol capsules with 150mg and 160 cartons of debumol Anagestic.
Similarly, on the 7th February, 2018 the Command seized another container with prohibited drugs. The banned drugs in the container were 200 cartons of tramadol with 255mg, 330 cartons of ibramol, chest and lungs tables 15mg, 198 cartons of col-caps capsules 41mg and 453 cartons of Rally extral 50mg respectively.
Also, the command disclosed that one person was arrested and granted administrative bail in connection to the seized containers.
The command reassured Nigerians of adequate service delivery in order to ensure safety of Nigerians and to boost the economy of Nigeria.
The command also expressed readiness to work and do better than they did last year in terms of revenue collection
