Harboursandport.com: Lagos --- 30/11/2018: Four state governors, three ministers and other
dignities are expected to grace the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, NSC annual
stakeholders appreciation night on Thursday 6th, December, 2018 at Lagos Continental
Hotel, Lagos at 5 pm.

The Governors of Edo, Jigawa, Kebbi, Plateau and Oyo
States as well as Ministers of Finance, Information and Culture,
Trade and Investment, among others are expected to grace the
occassion.
The annual event is aimed at reviewing activities during
the year and initiate actions needed to move the industry forward in
the coming year.
Stakeholders that distinguished themselves in their
daily operations within the year would be recognized and applauded to
encourage them to do more in moving the sector forward.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss
Gida Mustapha is expected to be Special Guest of Honour, while the
Honourable Minister of Transportation Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi
Amaechi would be the Host
The one-day programme would have in attendance various
stakeholders at the ports, including Trade Groups, Shipping
Companies, Seaports/Off Dock Terminal Operators, Freight forwarders,
Shippers, Cargo Consolidators, Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers,
Economic Summit Group, among others.
