Lagos -- Managing Director, Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) Alhaji Umar Ajiya has assured Nigerians that there will be no scarcity of petrol this year, as the Christmas celebration draws closer.

Ajiya noted that there will be adequate supply and availability of petroleum products to cover the yuletide and beyond.
Speaking to the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, he said Nigerians should go about their normal businesses and not to worry over the issues of petroleum scarcity as they are assiduously working with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC to maintain the supply and ensure uninterrupted distribution of petroleum products all over the country.
“Nigerians should go about their normal businesses as adequate arrangements have been put in place by the NNPC and PPMC to ensure that there is continuous supply and uninterrupted distribution of petroleum products throughout the country” he said.
Petrol scarcity has been a very pertinent issue in Nigeria, especially during the festive seasons like Christmas.
