The Association of Registered Freight Forwarders, Nigeria (AREFFN) heartily felicitates with all Muslim faithfuls in the association and the entire freight forwarding community on the happy occasion of the 2022 Sallah celebrations.
In a statement made available to our correspondent, the President the association, Alhaji Bala Lawan Daura prays for Allah's blessings on freight forwardets and the entire Nation at large.
In addition, Alhaji Bala, on behalf of his Association (AREFFN) congratulates the new Minister of Transportation, Alhaji Muazu Sambo pledging the support and cooperation of his Association to ensure that the new Minister enjoys a successful tenure in the Ministry.
As the supervising Minister of the Freight Forwarding Industry, Bala implored the honorable Minister to take time to look into the myriads of problems afflicting Freight Forwarders in Nigeria, particularly, the ferocious incursions into Freight Forwarding which is a business that is supposed to be preserved exclusively for Nigerians as obtained in other Countries. He also assured the Minister of the association's readiness to provide proofs should the need arise.
Alhaji Bala, also used the same opportunity to congratulate the newly promoted Customs DCG Hamza Gumi. He described the elevation as most deserved and timely.
Bala also pledged the full cooperation of his Association with the new DCG to help him achieve the objectives of his big office while wishing him a successful tenure.
