In a bid to move the association forward, the Steering Committee of the Nigerian Shipowners Association of Nigeria (NISA) is set to submit a report on how it has driven the course of the association in the last one year to members.
The Committee was set up by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, NISA, Chief Isaac Jolapamo to to bring together members of the association, liaise with government agencies in bringing to fore, the course of indigenous shipownership in the country and create awareness about the association to the Nigerian maritime community.
The Chairman of the Committee, Prince Sunny Omatseye, in a statement, called on members of the Association for a meeting on the 20th of October, 2022 at the Rockview Hotel, Park Lane, Apapa.
Top issues to discuss in the meeting are how to resuscitate the moribund Nigerian Maritime Conference and Exhibition (NIMAREX) and presentation of committee report, election date for the next set of executive members of the association among others.
Members are encouraged to be at the venue of the meeting by 11:00 AM.
