Harboursandport.com: Lagos --- The
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Census, Block Chain Technology and
founder of Fintech Worldwide, Mr Louis Ganza, has called on youths in
the country to stop wasting their time daily on social media and use
their data to create wealth for themselves.
Ganza
explained that the time spent by youths for socialising can be
channelled for better use. This he said is development reward for
passion.
The
Fintech Worldwide boss said this at a conference held in Lagos with
the theme: “Block chain Africa.” He explained that they have
developed an apps that will help youths achieve their aim in that
direction.
Louis
added that in two weeks time the apps will be available for download,
even as he advised government to take part in block chain technology
to create job opportunities for the Nigerian youths.
Similarly,
Steph Mekwuye CEO of Eka Consult technology and facilitator Fintech
Technology Worldwide, said the population of Nigerian youths are
overwhelming and there is need for government to look at ways of
reducing the population which will in turn help in poverty reduction
and creation employment for the youths.
Mekwuye
said the nation has the manpower and all that it takes is the
adoption of blocks chain in Nigeria, noting that the easiest way of
doing this, is for government to support the initiative.
She
also said block chain technology is a new way of doing things and
seeing things.
Some of the participants who spoke at the conference said it is a welcome development, as its adoption will help to reduce the level of unemployment in the country. They also advised youths to take advantage of the new innovation to overcome the challenge facing them in the country.
