... As CG Commissions Renovated Command's Office Complex
The Tin-can Island Customs Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS has collected a total of N1.125 trillion as at November 26, 2024.
The above represents an increase of N486 billion collected by the Command last year with a total revenue collection of N639 billion.
Disclosing this at the official commissioning of the renovated office of the Command's office complex in Lagos this Tuesday, Customs Area Controller, CAC of the Command, Dera Nnadi attributed the achievement to the deligency of officers and men of the Command as well as the dedication of the stakeholders.
In his comment during the commissioning, Comptroller General of Customs, CGC Adewale Adeniyi commended the Tin-can Island Command for the revenue collection feat as well as renovation of the office complex that remaimed the same for decades.
Adeniyi assures that the Tin-can Island Command Customs boss as well as other deserving officers will be given an award before the end of the week.
Nnadi had attributed huge revenue collection to the officers and men of the Command who are dedicated to ensure that stakeholders comply to rules for the economic and security benefits of the country.
While congratulating officers and men of the Command for the achievement, the Customs boss charged them to continue striving to do better to meet the expectations of the Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi.
