Presided over by the Council’s Executive Secretary/CEO, Akutah Pius, the ceremony brought together Directors, Department Heads, and Unit Leaders in a unified pledge to uphold NSC’s foundational values, ethical standards, and commitment to operational excellence.
Akutah hailed the moment as pivotal in aligning the Council’s internal culture with its national mandate. “This bond represents our shared dedication to fostering teamwork, accountability, and meaningful impact in Nigeria’s trade ecosystem,” he stated. “It’s a bold step forward toward achieving our strategic goals and reinforcing the role NSC plays in economic development.”
He further called on all members and stakeholders to actively support the initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, underscoring the importance of responsible governance and strategic partnership in driving sustainable national growth.
