Saxophones, Psalms, Shareholders: SIFAX Group Turns Marriott into Temple of Thanksgiving

Harboursandport.com: Lagos, Nigeria – December 19, 2025: The SIFAX Group transformed the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, into a sanctuary of praise and glamour as it hosted the third edition of its Annual Thanksgiving and Praise Night, themed “God’s Faithfulness, Our Gratitude.”

Chairman of SIFAX Group, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, and his wife, Mrs. Folashade Afolabi, in a moment of deep, heartfelt worship during the thanksgiving service. 


The event brought together the Group’s board, management, staff, clients, senior government officials, and industry stakeholders in a vibrant display of corporate unity and spiritual fervour.

Chairman of the Group, Taiwo Afolabi explained that the gathering was a way of appreciating God for sustaining the company through 2025.

“Our achievements, resilience, and progress were not by might, nor by power, but by the grace and faithfulness of God,” Afolabi said, noting that despite economic challenges and global uncertainties, SIFAX remained anchored in divine clarity and stability.

The atmosphere was charged with continuous worship led by a star-studded lineup of gospel ministers:

Gospel Minister Emma Oh My God, dressed in white ministering passionately on stage with his backup singers at the SIFAX Group annual Thanksgiving and Night o Praise.


Omotola Sax and the Ijebu Anglican Choir opened with soulful renditions.

Gospel artiste Lillian Nneji, leading a powerful song ministration on stage. She is flanked by her backup singers, all dressed in coordinating attire, as they lead the attendants of the SIFAX Group 2025 annual Thanksgiving in praise.


Eyinju Jesu ignited the crowd with a fiery praise session.

Nonso Choir warmed the gathering with festive carols and hymns.
