APFFLON Congratulates New Inspector-General of Police, Calls For Reforms In Policing


Harboursandport.com: Lagos, Nigeria – February 26, 2026: The Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria, APFFLON has congratulated the newly appointed Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, on his assumption of office, describing his emergence as timely for Nigeria’s security and economic stability.




In a statement signed by Frank Ogunjemite, National President of APFFLON, the association noted that Disu’s appointment comes at a critical period when Nigeria requires decisive leadership to strengthen national security, restore public confidence in the Police Force, and address emerging criminal threats affecting strategic sectors, including logistics and maritime trade.
