NCS Reaffirms Stronger Alliance With International Breweries On Operational and Optimize Revenue Generation

Harboursandportcom:Oyo/Osun-Nigeria: February 5,2026: On Thursday, 5 February 2026, a group of delegates from International Breweries Plc, Ilesha, paid a courtesy visit to the Operational Headquarters of the  Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service; as part of ongoing efforts to reinforce existing collaboration between the excise factory and the Service.


‎The delegation was  received by the Acting Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Wale Moses Adewole, who expressed profound appreciation for the visit and described it as a demonstration of the company’s dedication to institutional cooperation.

‎The visit underscores the Nigeria Customs Service’s stakeholder engagement strategy aimed at fostering voluntary compliance, strengthening public-private partnerships, and promoting seamless excise administration.

‎It  reiterates its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and optimize revenue generation.


‎ He acknowledged International Breweries Plc as a critical stakeholder of the NCS,, commending the organization for its consistent compliance with the provisions of the Nigeria Customs Service Act governing excise operations.

DC Adewole emphasized the importance of sustained synergy between the Service and excise factories, noting that such collaboration remains pivotal to achieving the core mandates of the Service, particularly in the areas of trade facilitation, regulatory compliance, and revenue generation. 

‎He further solicited the company’s continued support and cooperation similar to that enjoyed by his predecessors and assured the delegation of the Command’s unwavering commitment to providing a conducive operational environment that promotes transparency, efficiency, and mutual growth.


‎While  speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Operational Manager of International Breweries Plc, Ilesha, Mr. Emmanuel Onabanjo, expressed gratitude to the Acting CAC and the Command’s principal officers for the warm reception accorded to him and his team. 

‎He reaffirmed the factory’s commitment to maintaining a strong and productive relationship with the Service and pledged continuous cooperation in all statutory requirements. 

‎Mr. Onabanjo also assured the Command of the company’s readiness to provide timely information and necessary assistance to officers deployed to the facility to support the effective discharge of their responsibilities.

‎ The Oyo/Osun Area Command remains resolute in its drive to deepen collaboration with compliant organizations while advancing the Service’s overarching goal of national economic growth and development
