Harboursandport.com: Lagos, Nigeria - June 25, 2026: In a bid to finding a lasting solution for the emerging traffic gridlock at Apapa Port corridor, the management of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA rallied concerned stakeholders in the port and logistics sector at it's head office at Marina, Lagos.
The Managing Director, NPA Abubakar Dantsoho on Wednesday received the Asst. Inspector General of Police (Maritime), Nurat Okunade, the Representative of Commissioner of Transport Lagos, Mr. Ojowuro Olasunkanmi, the Secretary-General, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Godfrey Nwosu and FRSC Sector Commander Lagos, Ganiyu Hamzat during Port Stakeholders meeting convened by the NPA to address issues of jurisdictional overlaps and extortion along Tin-can and Apapa Ports access roads.
The NPA boss was joined by Executive Director Finance and Administration, Vivian Richard-Edet, Executive Director Marine and Operations, Olalekan Badmus and the General Manager, Security NPA, Anthony Edosomwan.
