Following Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori's establishment of the Directorate of Riverine Infrastructural Development, DRID, the advocacy group argues that while the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy prioritizes commercial marine resources and maritime trade, it risks marginalizing small-scale fishing and coastal communities through "blue privatization."
