Harboursandport.com: Ibadan, Nigeria - December 14, 2024: In a bid to promote oral health and hygiene, SIFAX Group, a multinational conglomerate, has sponsored a free dental outreach for the residents of Sabo community in Mokola, Ibadan.
The outreach, organized by the University of Ibadan Association of Dental Students (UADS), provided vital oral health services to over 165 residents, including free dental checkups, scaling, and polishing, as well as oral hygiene education.
The event, which held at the Sabo community center, was well-attended by residents of all ages, who expressed gratitude to SIFAX Group for bringing these essential services to their doorstep.
"We are very grateful to SIFAX Group for this kind gesture," said Mrs. Funmilayo Adewale, a resident of Sabo community. "Many of us cannot afford to visit the dentist regularly, so this outreach is a blessing to us."
The dental students, who were supervised by two medical doctors, worked tirelessly to attend to the large turnout of residents. The students praised SIFAX Group for their support, which enabled them to gain valuable clinical experience while giving back to the community.
